Tree of Life, '25

Tree of Life, Painted steel and aluminum, sited at Cortez Park, Phoenix, AZ. A Public Art Project commissioned by the City of Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture. Sixteen steel artworks create a walk-by gallery at 35 Ave. and the Arizona Canal. Each 56” x 48” panel is cut from 1/2 inch steel plate and powder-coated in metallic silver. Geese and an assortment of other creatures represent an imagined interpretation of the City’s wildlife and the linkage between the flora and fauna of the City.
